The Jets regain the Challenge Cup with a clean win over the Sharks. Series now stands Jets 5, Sharks 2.
The Sharks have been awarded The Cup by a unanimous decision by the California Sandbag Rules! Committee recognizing their 10/10/09 victory over the Jets as a legitimate Challenge Ladder win. Congratulations Mario, Mark, Steve and Dane. Bag On!
California Sandbag Challenge Cup Series
We have begun a Challenge Cup Series with a challenge ladder for four member teams eager to compete at the highest level against the best Baggers in the game. The competition is set up with two singles games and two doubles games with all team members having an opportunity to throw against all members of the opposing team. Each game is to 21 with teams accumulating points by scoring wins in each round of play. Challenge Cup winner is the team that accumulates the most wins. A tie results in a one Bag per player toss-off to determine the winner.
We are actively seeking new teams interested in getting on the ladder and challenging the team above for the right to compete for the Challenge Cup. If you are interested in more details or in signing up a team, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get you set up and in play for the Cup.

"Let's see... if we move a couple of these W's over to our column, do you think they will notice?"
After 2.5 hours of heated Bag-to-Bag battles (and a little foul language), the unbeaten JETS prevailed in a 7-4 victory to fend off the SHARKS and retain their hold on Rung No. 1 on the Challenge Ladder.
